22-foot long alligator spotted in White River

“It must have been over 20 feet.”

Mark Greenwich didn’t hesitate before leaving behind his kayak on the bank of the White River.

After seeing the beast, Mark quickly fled, but only after catching a glimpse of what he described as “something you just don’t see in Indiana.”

“He was just so big that if he even moved by my boat he would have sunk me, he was just that heavy,” Greenwich said.

The Indiana Observer has now received multiple reports of an alligator ranging between 18-22 feet in length spotted in Indiana’s White River. Continue following for more updates
